Actually a Mario day miracle, holy crap

Aside from it being an iconic and fantastic episode, also worth bringing up is that a version of this episode with new endings was originally planned to air in December 2024, but got pulled. I really wonder what exactly was planned for this.

What exactly is the point of being a voter for big-name awards like this one then? Also this is obvious disrespect for the animation field.

For as sketchy as Nintendo is business-wise nowadays, they're definitely in the right on this imo.

Do Paramount and Skydance literally not have a $500 million debt or?? Aside from the other things addressed, such as who runs them, I can't see this going well.

That system was my freaking childhood, I played on it for a stupid amount of time in the mid-to-late 2010s. It's such an amazing system, the best handheld of all-time imo

A bit surprised it is this soon, but I definitely respect their decision, especially after watching through their announcement. While I only got around to watching this show last month, I've found it really fun and it's one of my favorite shows of the 2020s so far.

Between this and a few other things that came out recently, such as Matt Braly mentioning that he got harassed in that one interview, it's deeply concerning the levels that some people would stoop to when they are that stuck in the fandoms and being way too obsessive over said media.

It's simply charming, I enjoy the chill vibe of it, and the main duo are pretty fun.

This ending being 10 years old now really shows how far time has gone. Gravity Falls was a really special show, has absolutely stood the test of time, and this finale is absolutely phenomenal.

The new Mario Galaxy movie posters are awesome, they get me hyped for the movie more. Also I honestly feel a lot of people on the other site are doomposting about the movie due to the leaked runtime. You don't exactly know 100% how the movie will be until it actually releases.

I'm not sure how to interpret the recent Loud House news tbh. It seems to be kind of a trend nowadays for Nick shows to be left in limbo with an uncertain fate on their future, but then they end up just ended without notice. Opinions on the show aside, I do wonder where the position of Nick is now.

Welp, the time has come
Part of me kinda had the feeling that the current production season was going to be its last one. While I feel that the show has run its course for a while, I obviously wish the crew members good luck for getting future jobs.

Some people are being a bit overdramatic here imo. Considering how the movie blew up like crazy, they'd want to make sure that the sequel can be the best it can. And the article actually mentions that there is a lot they can expand into. It just comes down to execution.

It's really been 5 years already? I definitely feel this is one of the best values for Mario on the Switch; one of the best games in the franchise imo with gameplay improvements, and adding in a really fun side game in Bowser's Fury. This release I feel truly gave 3D World the love it deserves.

Least Favorites: SpongeBob's Bad Habit, The Nitwitting, The Ballad of Filthy Muck, Gary's Got Legs, Patrick's Tantrum

Tbh I'm a bit surprised this wasn't already done, considering how big all 3 of these shows are, and that all of them have been or are getting new content. I think these will definitely be cool to keep up with for updates related to them.

The fact that this is even a thought in 2026 really just shows how far most social media sites have sunk.

On one hand, I'm glad they came to their senses (and it does further show that speaking out against the issue is important), but on the other, not sure why they had the idea to discontinue it in the first place

As far as episodes I liked from later seasons, these would be my recommendations from season 14 and up:

This show kind of left both a positive and negative influence on adult animation in my opinion. I have overall mixed thoughts about this show, especially considering the HD seasons, but I will say it's genuinely enjoyable in its first 6 seasons, and there's a fair share of great episodes afterwards.

I kind of don't understand why these episodes were promoted as super special, when I can argue that there are other episodes in this same season that have more ambitious and crazier premises than some of these. I enjoy Bikini Bottom Triangle and The Curse of the Hex, but the rest didn't impress me.

Yeah, I think SNES retros can definitely be done really well. I really like MC2 in MK7, SNES Rainbow Road in MK7 and MK8, and BC3 in the BCP. With the Mario Circuits in World now, MC3's remake in the BCP definitely seems kind of pointless since they didn't really do much with it

I've been seeing a stupid amount of this discourse as well, and I don't get it either. The November trailer already made it clear that Galaxy is a key aspect of this movie, and the movies make it obvious that they reference the franchise as a whole. And there's the matter of not spoiling too much.

Tbh I'm kinda confused as to why it took until now for these movies to be added on there
