I feel happy to have had a break in my day to get over to Riverbend Ponds area for about a 40 minute walk. I’ve known Colorado Februarys to be generally a little warmer and today it was lovely (even though we are still in significant need of snow). Very resourcing and relaxing.

This eagle flew into view and circled low around the pond 2 times and then perched in a tree on the west end of the pond. It then swooped down on the east end of the pond and caught something and flew away! So very neat to see!
