When I began writing this novel, I asked my Facebook friends to name one of my characters.

A very funny friend from high school suggested Dogwood McDougal. He was kidding.

He has since passed. Came across the name while editing. 🙂☹️

It’s been a while. I haven’t been writing. I don’t know why. So, I made a New Year’s resolution to write every day, but I didn’t open my manuscript until today.

I’m into genealogy, so many of my names are in my family tree that I have traced back to the 1600’s. Main character Anjanetta is actually a great-grandmother.

Ok, I’ll admit it was a poor choice of words. I’d never “root” for her. But, I am delighted they are going after each other. 🍿 I loathe both of them, but the lesser of the two evils right now is MTG.

I must be missing something. I believe Schumer knew the GOP would reject his offer. With that and Trump appealing the decision to release SNAP benefits, this is looking bad for Republicans.
Schumer did a good thing here.
