I've commissioned people for the first time ever recently and I can see how this gets addicting like wtf do you mean I get to give people money and I get given peak in return. This is awesome

i don't know how many animators follow me, (might apply to regular artists too tbh) but do you guys also feel extremely cringe whenever trying to follow a trend. like its fine when everyone else does it but when you do it you feel like you're gonna be publicly executed. or is it just me

happy WIP Wednesday!! I can't remember if I said here or not, but I’m committing to getting an animation finished either by the end of this year or the start of next. so I've been doing countless backgrounds over the last few weeks! here's one of them!

Her build is that of a regular female Meowstic, but her colour palette is grey and her darker fur is more wispy in nature. She also has multi-coloured eyes that are purple, yellow and red. Spider lilies adorn the visible parts of her legs. Her outfit is a frilly black dress with red accents. The background is all black with diagonal grey stripes and cut-out photos of flowers are scattered around the image.

She's designed as a vague humanoid with a witch's hat and pale pink medium-length hair, and she's standing in a cute pose with one of her arms up. Her skin and hat are all a bright purple, with accents on the hat being a darker pinkish red, along with three gems on her chest. She's wearing a dark purple outfit that consists of a short sleeveless dress, an incredibly cropped jacket with long sleeves and thigh high socks. Bat-shaped accents are on her hips and actual bat wings come out of the side of her dress further up. The whole drawing has dark, sharp lineart and cel shading. The background mostly dark purple with a yellow frame, and some extra accents like hearts and lines exist on various parts of the canvas.
