I think there is a type of game that works in that kinda setting, for certain players at least, but some games really thrive on some peace and quiet. I also get very nervous when people watch me play, for Cairn a lady just sat down next to me and watched while I contorted the character horrifically

I played Cairn at Gamescom and have been looking forward to playing it without two other people waiting in line and watching me play. I think it will be a much better experience in a quiet environment. It was great there but will be much better at home.

i understand that these corporations are beloved by many, but as soon as you start defending their use of AI, even if it's "a little bit", i need you to understand that you are being used as a corporate tool to normalize AI. reject it with all your might. corporations arent your friend.

"we USE ai, but our game wont CONTAIN it" is a clarification that no one has ever cared about & now CEOs are using it as a wedge to get their foot in the door as a part of a long term plan into normalizing AI, just like how 'it's just placeholder' was used with E33. dont cede even an inch of ground

epic will pay for every game that gets claimed this way so yes, you are still giving money to rowling (and by extension an international campaign against trans people) by claiming this

there are other, better franchises - let this one go
