🐀 💙 have you seen the temple in India where they are sacred and live freely, they don’t allow you to walk in it with shoes! I don’t think I could do it without my flip flops.

Fancy rats kept as pets and wild rats are a different concept of cute indeed. I can imagine the chaos a wild colony would cause living near an auto garage!

A crow perched on a pine branch The best part of us were the birds Each morning putting seeds out and waiting to see who came along. The bluejays were usually first with smalls getting their share of what fell. The jays were my favorites cause of their boisterous attitude and loud shouts. The cardinals, lady and man were next, we both loved them because of how they loved each other. The crows would be in the trees protesting their right to feed if only the others would move along. Now if we had peanuts out on the rail, everyone would try their luck, no manners stood. Finally at the end, the tender doves would drift in like gleaners in the field. These were Pete’s favorite because of their tenderness and soft coos. Our daily ritual, feeding the flyers and chipmunks and squirrels too. A simple meal to provide two olds with love of giving. So it’s fitting that he would appear as a bird. He was a man like that ~ flying above us all, seeing the expanse before him.
