Had a nice wonder around Calton Hill. There wasn’t a lot of birds around there but I will go back and see more in different seasons. Today’s sightings were

Only here because I got a email enquiry from the Calton Hill folks asking if I’d be interested in leading a Birding Tour around Calton Hill in the future. I told them I have never been and don’t know the area at all but said I’d go and have a look and see if it’s suitable or not.

What I really like about @keithbroomfield.bsky.social β€˜s book is that every chapter ends with useful information on how to get there by bus or car. A must read book.

I have just finished reading β€œWild Edinburgh An Illustrated Guide to the Wildlife of Scotland’s Capital” by @keithbroomfield.bsky.social It is a great read focusing on different places around the city and beyond on what you are likely to see there.
