Finally, the coveted door, number seven, appeared before me. I was about to knock, but then an interesting thought struck me.
"What if I looked at the guest beforehand?"
And don't get me wrong: I'm not one to spy on others or pry into someone's personal life.

With these thoughts in mind, I continued down the hotel corridors. Night had already fallen, and so I was about to complete my first assignment. It was simple enough—invite a guest I'd entrusted to me for dinner.

I'd mentally prepared myself for the possibility of encountering severely injured people here. Who knows? After fires or accidents? If the owner had truly created a place where they could be safe and no one would gasp or sigh when they met, then she was a real genius!

I wonder what those words meant? The hotel owner said she'd hand-picked us specifically, and we shouldn't be too frightened by the guests. But what could possibly be so special about them?

On the other hand, there was no point dwelling on it now; I was already here, one way or another.
