Honestly this gives me a thought-I can certainly tame and sit on them long enough for a picture without bonding to them and replacing one of the ones I have. If I come across more pretty ones I’ll probably post about them too.

Oh yeah and I’ve barely even scratched the surface of showing them. I’m just limited to having five at a time and didn’t want to get rid of one of these yet. There’s 19 breeds with multiple color models for each and they’re proportionally pretty to scale from each other and look distinct.

The final horse of my current collection, Bandit, the Dutch Warmblood who I named due to his dark facial marks looked like a mask. In our world this breed wasn’t around until much later, but I believe Red Dead is slightly alt history and that’s a really fun twist.

Anyone else nerd out about the psychopharmacology of substances being used and their chemical actions when you’re getting a procedure done? No? Just me?

We’ve talked about the fastest, now the strongest in my horse girl fantasy stable aka RDR2. This is Samson the Andalusian who is a tank. Andalusians are one of my favorite horse breeds in real life so I was very excited to collect one in RDR2. With his unusual blue eyes he’s very ethereal.

Finally finished this painting! It’s acrylic on canvass. When I painted it I was thinking about how we pour our souls and our life into the things we create.

They’re pretty much brand new! At first I saw some of their videos and at first was like wtf is this and then it hooked me. I was not super familiar with microtonal music. I knew people did it but never gave it much time but it’s really neat when they get it to harmonize in unusual ways!

Hell yeah that was awesome! I love all the layers of sound they got in there!

This gorgeous girl is Rain the brindle thoroughbred. She’s my only mare for now by random chance and by far the fastest horse I have. In my game she spawned without her NPC by the side of the road alone, so I took her and she’s been one of my favorites due to her speed and bravery.

The most recent addition to my virtual stable, a Hungarian Halfbred I named Cloud because he looks exactly like my favorite childhood posable horse toy by the same name. I’ve had a great time trying to emulate the kind of pictures they had in my beloved horse encyclopedia.

This is Ignatius. He is not a terribly strong or fast horse and pretty much every NPC owns a one of him, but I can’t get rid of him because he’s beautiful.

I was a Barbie horse game girl and RDR2 has filled that void in my heart that’s been there for a long damn time. I may honestly never finish the plot and just ride around collecting shit. Yes I know how it ends. Maybe I’ll get to it at some point but this messing around is the best.

I’ve had a cold this week but got a surprise bright spot, an early delivery of my corset from Corsets & Cogs who I met at the PA ren fair last season. I can’t wait to incorporate it into my garb for this upcoming season! If I’m lucky I might make it to the NJ one this time and kick things off early!

Today in RDR2, where I’ve more or less decided to entirely ignore the plot and fuck off into the woods, I stole a train and parked it in an inconvenient spot where a wagon road crosses the tracks, causing a disruption to local traffic and annoyance in the population. This game is amazing.

So far highlights of RDR2 have included blowing up the white supremacist gang with dynamite in their house and stealing an entire train and a mountain lion jumping out of the woods and killing the cops who were chasing me down while I did so. Excited to see what today brings.
