Iβm confused by all the headline references to a βshouting match.β I saw one side shouting and the other side getting shouted over when he tried to talk.

21.01.2025 04:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Why did she and Walz stop calling them "weird" and "I know his type"? They made Trump look weak. Instead, using language like "fascist" and "threat to democracy" made him look strong, even if threatening. That increased his appeal to low-info voters, esp. males. That was a mistake in close election.

Out of the gate, it was: "I know his type ..." and "I'm a career prosecutor who took on fraudsters" and "Trump & Vance are weird". She had great momentum. She demolished Trump in the debate, And he knew it. But then, her "experts" told her to pivot.

As a career con man, Trump understood that evidence-free symbols are effective with low-info voters: "I am strong and Biden is weak". Continuous repetition of that message trumped all

Like LBJ, Biden was a Senate veteran who knew how to get legislation passed. He did it with a 50-50 Senate and a virtual 50-50 House. In conventional terms, Biden was successful ...
30.11.2024 09:28 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0It's heartening to see more truth tellers and indie journalists migrate to Blue Sky and other platforms.
I hope this trend continues and these places make it more palatable for folks to leave X.
X cannot continue to be the dominant platform.
It has become the epicenter of misinformation.
Donald Trump is now (1) below 50% popular vote and (2) has a margin of popular vote victory roughly HALF of Hillary's victory in 2016. They believe the left has to lay down and shut up because of this "landslide" victory.
