He was very gracious when we honored him at the Laguna Playhouse gala in 2004, when I was its CEO. He was accompanied by his lovely wife Calista Flockhart. He spoke fondly of his early days acting at our theatre in the 1960s.

We watched our 9th Harlan Coben murder mystery series today (“Safe,” one of his earliest, on Netflix). He is a master storyteller in this genre, even if we have quibbles about some of the series.
