Losing it over how adorable our new prehensile-tailed skink hatchlings are! The pair made their debut last month, and are living behind-the-scenes with their parents. Unlike many reptile species, these guys stay with their parents for quite a long time- sometimes upwards of two years!

Dr. Jane Goodall was a trailblazer in great ape conservation, a hero who dedicated her life to advocating for primates. We were fortunate enough to host Dr. Goodall here at ZA in 2014 as part of her Roots & Shoots program. Dr. Goodall's life embodied our mission. Her absence will be felt deeply.

Congrats Bird Team for fledging two superb starling chicks! Superb starlings are notorious for their sneaky nesting skills. This pair nested above a heat lamp that is inaccessible to the team. Even though we were suspicious there were chicks, we were pleasantly surprised when two chicks fledged!
