“Audible unveils plans to use AI voices to narrate audiobooks.” Inevitable. But surely the appeal of audiobooks is that you connect to the voices as well as the story. And feel you are being read to.

I agree with this but with PR no one understands how much time it takes to pitch, how much effort is put in and how much competition there is. Even if you explain it, there’s always ‘more that could be done’. Working with authors over a longer period of time is the answer but no one can afford it.
