Replaced the #Kathrein duplex filter in my modded #Siemens C5 with a PCB designed by #DL8SDL in 2001. I found his schematic, ported it to a modern PCB stackup and updated some components.
RX/TX isolation > 30 dB, PA/Ant < 0.7 dB loss😊

The old CRT has quite some burn-in😄

Finally finished my CRT to LCD conversion on my #HP #8594E spectrum analyzer. The LCD is a little larger and much brighter. Under the hood it uses a 5,6" LCD, GBS8200 video converter and an #esp8266 with gbs-control to convert the HP video signal.

HyGain AR-40 rotator on a 3d printed mount next to an ESP32 dev board

A quick test using an ESP32 three phase inverter dev board as a VFD to control my HyGain AR40 rotator. Looks like a promising solution to use it portable without the need for a bulky control box or an ac supply.

Two weeks ago I got this broken #HP8594 #spectrum #analyzer at #HAMRADIO fair in #Friedrichshafen
After a long night, multiple filter alignments and my own "interpretation" of the service manual, the unit is back alive⚡
Now I need a GPIB adapter & sig gen as well😝

Thanks to @2m0sql.com my #QTRigdoppler fork now supports Yaesu rotators and a websocket integration.

I added binaries so everyone using Linux can test it just by downloading and starting the app with their IC-910 or IC-9700.

Added a feature I miss on both of my #icom #ic910: Data VOX!
A small circuit triggers the PTT when audio from the computer is present. Added a switch as well to disable it😊
That will make life easier for datamodes on satellite😊

A 250 Watt RF resistor case.
A nickel strip is used to connect to the N socket.
Usable up to 70cm. RL on 23cm is only 15 dB, Z matches the datasheet, so I guess the feed is fine and I need a better R
