Washington Sets New American Women's Hockey Attendance Record Washington, DC is the new owner of an American professional women's hockey attendance record with 17,228 at Capital One Arena.

Ted Leonsis and Amy Scheer both raved aboot the record setting crowd today for the PWHL Takeover Tour in Washington, DC.

Just checked their calendar and State Farm's schedule it pretty full for September and October.

It's a full arena, but way too small come the playoffs. Ticket demand will be very high.
