also the fortified wine out of the bottle tastes like 6 dollar fortified wine. absolutely vile. will be using it in more sauces though, I hate the stuff so never have it in the house but that has changed today

alright success!! it looks totally unappealing but turned out VERY tasty
i boiled the sauce quickly as if making a red wine gravy, put the pork in for a bit before slicing it, and also added butter to the sauce at the end. doesn't taste like it was made of 2 cups of wine and not a lot else!
