We got an XR4i as trim level (no T), with a V6 rather than the turbo 4 I think the American ones got.

My parents recently returned from Switzerland bearing biscuits. So that's Sunday evening snacking sorted.

It's another rainy Saturday, but we're off to the Great British Car Journey today with the #GCCG.

It's been almost 3 years since my last visit, so it'll be interesting to see what's changed, I imagine quite a bit.

Although it doesn't look it, that one is actually dark blue, which I think is the same colour as our current R5 demo.

My hope was short-lived.

We had a yellow one in the showroom and a green demonstrator for the R5 launch. I'm hoping the other MICRA will be the bright blue or red.

The first new #Nissan MICRA was delivered to work today, seen here getting its post-delivery check over.

A little disappointed Nissan auto-allocated us a black one, hopefully the other one that's on the way is in a slightly brighter shade.

Customer feedback: "The salesman, I think his name was James, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He asked me what I was looking for and listened to my requirements when I answered.... he knew that I was the one who would be purchasing the car and spoke to me directly (you'd be surprised at how many salesman direct everything to my husband) we went through the figures for PCP and everything was as I required. I did advise that this was the first car I had looked at and I had a couple of others in mind that I needed to see."

Coincidently, it's my first day back in the office after a week off and this customer feedback was sitting in my inbox.

Definitely too much for me, I went for pie and mash in the end.

I think someone got carried away with the pun machine. The food was very nice though.
