I forgot to say that I told my Mom and step dad about me starting hrt and they were actually very supportive. A bit confused, as I've never mentioned any of this to them, but they're trying, and that's what matters most.

I thought I was going crazy cause I knew something was wrong but I couldn't place it until the blood tests came back. I didnt even think to tell them about the patch until they said I had an extremely high level of e (it was like 1150) and I was like... oh... uh... yeah, about that.

Good news, after talking to a new doctor they opted to switch me off the patches over to the injections next week instead of two months from now like my definitely probably negligible old doctor had suggested. So yay, ill be able to take baths without getting sick again.

So, imma be switching to injections because fuuuuuck that noise. I'm not giving up nice scalding hot relaxing baths because of these damn things. And with that im kinda back to normal. I'm a bit woozy, but i'll be reaching out to clients today with updates.

Which also explains the rampant depression, emotional instability, etc etc. Which was fun and definitely didn't fuck me up a bit. Anyways, they pumped me full of fluids until I was leaking juice out of every orifice and then sent me home to sleep, and wouldn't you know it, I feel alot better.

So for the last week and a half ive been experiencing the worsst fucking symptoms of my life. Fever, debilitating gut cramps, dizziness, vomiting, muscle weakness. I literally thought I had fucking covid or the plague or something. But no, not at all my E level were just 4x what they should be. ->

exercise/runs because they were peeling off from sweat, something my doctor sad was ok. EXCEPT ITS NOT. Because apparently the baths and second second skin were trapping heat and water under the patches and they were dumping Estrogen into my body in a disgustingly high rate. Which is very bad. ->

Ok, i'm back, and we've figured out what was happening and why I was feeling so fucked up. Apparently while estradiol patches are fine in showers, a long hot bath not so much, and then on top of that i've been using a secondary layer of adhesive second skin to keep them planted during my morning ->

It has been an absolutely miserable few weeks here and I am barely keeping it together right now. I am sorry to people waiting for comms, it's been an endless stream of medical scares, bad weather, and a personal depression struggle I haven't felt since college. I'm trying so hard to be ok.

Quick update, friends got held up behind a hellish winter storm on their return trip so we'll be pup sitting over the weekend still which means I won't be back at my desk til they're back likely late tomorrow or early Monday.

Sorry this month has been so spotty, our life is weird right now. -.-'

Quick check in, a friend of ours had to leave town for a family emergency so we are pet sitting for them til they come back next week, so maru and I are taking turns staying over and watching their elder pup, it's messing with my art time alot so it's gonna be a bit hit or miss til Thursday.

Now I think this would be great motivation for me to voice train, would teach me some cool skills, and also really help me advertise myself.

But the other thing I thought was that I may be able to monetize said videos as well, which would help me financially.

So I had a weird synergistic idea yesterday as I stare down the barrel of years of voice training, but its a weird kinda ask since it involves using my art in a way I never thought about.

I want to start making short videos doing voice over narration for my sequences... like all of them.
