He was one of the most loyal and brave pups I knew and he was a part of my life for about 16 years.

Tribute to my dog Simba. RIP sweet little prince. Eat as much chicken, ham, and steak as you wish, wherever you are.

I forgot to add I also happened to be listening to Cilla Black's verison of Across the Universe during sketching. I guess it set the vibe just a bit for the beginning.

That's sort of a simplification for the general idea. I'll probably make proper detailed oc bios when I get the chance. And yeah, I know these are common edgy fictional tropes but hey, I love the tragedy of it all.

But yeah, spoilers: it doesn't work out because this robot-she's still kinda her own person in a way, so he keeps trying different ways to somehow bring Grace back even if it means resorting to bad deeds. (He's a wanted space pirate with a huge bounty on his back.)

I'm a real sucker for the trope where someone loses a loved one, goes mad, and tries to bring them back. In this case, one of Atlas's biggest mistakes was creating a robot in his dead friend's likeness and thinking she could replace Grace.
