Happy #BatWeek! Did you know bats have "silent screams?" Their high-pitched echolocation ​calls are outside the range of human hearing, but if we could hear them, they'd actually be quite loud!

In Nova Scotia, witch hazel is already blooming (late September to November), so keep an eye out for the blooms, a small but determined splash of life before winter.
