At least personally, if I'm describing a limit or colimit, I'm not drawing in all the identity morphisms and so forth for the index category.
Whereas, even though I guess it's technically the same thing, I wouldn't write down a basis and call it a vector space.

I *knew* it was MF Doom. Just didn't think to look up his joint project.
Apparently the main sample is incidental music from an episode of Ironside.

Reading the context, which is about protest songs, I think he may have meant "you don't [just] talk about the darkness."
(That said, I know next to nothing about U2's music.)

Rep. James E Clyburn - Campaign Finance Summary
Fundraising profile for Rep. James E Clyburn - South Carolina District 06
Looking at top contributors for Clybourn's campaign and PAC combined, that doesn't seem to be the case. His top contributors are labor unions.
He did get $150k from people associated with the insurance industry, but if you look at the breakdown it doesn't look like it's mainly health insurers.

I'm aware that a lot of people constantly assert that. I have never seen any evidence of it.
Unless by "corporate Democrats" you're only talking about three or four people who won office as a Democrat in otherwise solidly-red states.

Agreed, but it illustrates how much money the people who profit from that industry are willing to spend to keep it going. Even if they had to put $3 trillion into an election to prevent a public option from being created, it would still just be a cost of doing business to them.

And that's not even counting the people involved in legitimate businesses that stand to reap huge profits from tax cuts.
All of these people are willing to pay to get someone elected if they'll get that money and more back immediately as a result of the election.

Same goes for coal mining, probably for oil, probably for a lot of the pseudoscientific "wellness" industry, etc. And the drug cartels, whose business model depends on prohibition. All these people need Republicans in power if they're going to keep making money.

If there had been a handful more Democrats in Congress during the time Obama was passing the ACA, we would have had a public option for a decade by now and the health insurance industry effectively wouldn't exist. That's a $1.5 trillion industry that would just be gone.

FATALLY STABBED
Mr. James Harvey, formerly President of the Miners' Co-operative Coal Company and more recently foreman of the Coal mines, was stabbed on Tuesday Nov. 23rd, by B. S. Blaylock, the engineer of the company. He died last Saturday about 7:30 PM, after very great sufferings. He leaves a wife and two children together with a large circle of friends to mourn his loss.

To be clear: deportations to increase cultural homogeneity is the text book definition of ethnic cleansing. Demands that come even close to this are so far outside any democratic norm and the rule of law. What has happened to a country when this is not condemned in the strongest possible terms?

In a state that he only won *because* he was extremely conservative? A state where no Democrat has ever won again? He would switch parties and those ads would *help* him.
(Also, it's difficult to spend a ton of money on ads when you're the side *stopping* people from making huge profits.)

What, exactly, does "politicking" consist of, other than making the very concessions being decried here? Like do you want them to kidnap Ben Nelson's family and hold them hostage until he votes the right way or something?

Honestly, if there's something to fault Democrats for, it's running Lieberman as a VP candidate. They fell for evangelical's lies that they actually cared about a President having an affair, when all they actually cared about was that this was something that could be used against a Democrat.
