Had Tifa not been in the picture as Cloud grew up and ignoring the fact that Cloud got a semblance of his sanity back because of Tifa, CT also wouldn't have worked. Unless both or either A or T have the patience of a saint dealing with him LOL

Honestly tho, had Zack been out of the picture and the story still proceeds the way it is in canon, i don't think CA could work. Bc post mako Cloud is quite an asshole lmfao. You have no idea how much i wanted to punch him as i played rebirth 😂 the girls have every right to be mad at him jshsjsk

In the end, you can ship anyone you want. Heck, you can make all kinds of scenarios for your ship. You can even say "f*ck canon" and write your own version. But canon is still canon. Please acknowledge it.

Zack accepted her for who she is before he even knew WHO or what she is. That meant something to Aerith, who only ever had ppl seeking her for her supposed power. She had Elmyra, but she never had friends. She has constructed walls around her. And Zack broke down that wall.

Then Zack came along and broke through her walls. I don't believe she got all her quirky personality from zack (even if canon may hint otherwise). She copied some of his gestures yes, but it's more like he reminded her how to be herself. And THAT is my zerith. They are each other's home

As for the personality thing. Honestly? She WAS bubbly as a child. But also she hides a lot of her pain behind her smiles. It IS known that she doesn't have a good childhood. And even after moving to the slums, some kids found her weird. She never had friends. Of course she'd grow withdrawn overtime

I don't deny the game retconned stuff. And yes they shouldn't make everything abt her is bc of zack. But it is what it is. And before anyone accuses me of being a ctza, i shipped CA first, then moved to ZA. I only shipped CT since 2019 or smth. I found them cute in CC. God im annoyed
