The solution, amatus, is proper boots that are water-resistant and quite tall. Wet socks can be changed, after all—severed toes are much harder to replace.

And it’s easier to hide the wrong socks from me when I can’t see them behind the boots 😘

If you don’t want my opinion, don’t ask for it.
