(Pet loss) We had so many dogs at one time, I made these silly placeholders for each one, so wouldn't get their bowls or meds mixed up. Placeholder Rose has been retired, and now sits with her placeholder sisters, Darby and Pinky. It's become a ritual as part of my processing.

I'm not usually a huge Superman fan (He never has a personality), but the latest movie was SO GOOD. I'm not quite getting the "woke" comments, though. Is it really because they acknowledged he's an alien immigrant? He is, though. The alienest, immigrantiest alien immigrant of them all.

I don't know how old Mr. Fantastic is supposed to be, but Pedro Pascal is the only reason I'm considering watching yet another iteration of the Fantastic Four. They could ditch the other three and call the movie Pedro Pantastic and I'd be in.

I was just wondering what happened to the lightening bolt version of this flag, which was migraine inducing for me. Both flags were designed by Ann Magill. She updated it from the lightening bolt with starkly contrasting colors to a single band with softer colors in 2021.

I am not financially successful. I spend a lot of time sitting and feeling icky and sleepy. I get confused by hallucinations and time distortions, and forget to take my meds. I have a spouse who supports me emotionally and financially. I write poetry, paint, and love the people in my life.

For Disability Pride Month, I have this to say: Societal focus on financial success ignores everything else that people have to offer, from non profit work, to creative endeavors, to just being a person, which is worthy in and of itself. Just spend five minutes talking to anyone. #disabilitypride

This popped up in my feed. Lauren Magaziner writes all kinds of genres for young folks. Skimming through some interviews, I get the idea she felt she needed to create the *inclusive* adventuring sorcerers story that she wished she'd had growing up. Pretty cool. #books #inclusive

I gave my Sleepy Fox painting to a charity auction, and it sold! I feel so touched. This is the only thing I've ever done in this style, but maybe I'll do more. I have been feeling like my current style has been worked out of my system lately. Someone requested rabbits. No need to twist my arm!
