Just a lovely lil spring arch for today’s happy couple at #cooperagemke. They DIYed all their flowers but asked me to do arch floral for them. Love a DIY/florist collab! Great way to balance budget, your stress levels lol, and floral vision.

Last year was so fun, we’re doing it again! We’ll be at Hawthorne Coffee Roasters mom’s day morning from 8-12. We’ll have grab n gos, flowers by the stem, or preorder something bigger for mom online to come pick up! Flowers & coffee… what more could mom want?!

Lil sneak of this weekend’s wedding! Lots of greenery and warm pastels.

But because prices keep increasing, tariffs keep changing, and we have no idea what our economy or country will look like in a year, I wanted to offer what I could to ease the stress of planning a wedding a year in advance in these times of uncertainty. 💕

Non refundable retainers and limits to how much quotes can be reduced by are safety measures most of us wedding florists include in our contracts to protect our time & livelihood.

Because of the turbulence these tariffs are causing, I’m introducing a few changes to make flower shopping a little less stressful.

Retainers will now be half-refundable, and I’ve raised the limit of how much your quote can be reduced by after booking.

This particular farmer said they are likely not doing tulips at all next year. They noticed a decrease in quality of bulbs due to the climate changing, and with the tariffs it’s simply not worth it. A big wake-up not only on the effects of tariffs, but ALSO climate change.

Yesterday I had flowers delivered from a fave local farmer and I asked how tariffs affect their biz. They order many bulbs from Holland. So yes, even locally grown flowers will feel the effects of tariffs, and it could stretch into next year as bulbs need to be purchased this year.

I have a wedding at the end of May with a very colorful, vintage, & eclectic vibe. Been having so much fun thrifting pieces for it. I’ll be putting flowers in cups, bowls, goblets… why stick to just vases?!

Each flower strand was about 30’ long and I created 10 separate strands. So 300’ of flowers! I used 175 carnations (super hearty out of water) plus a couple bunches of eucalyptus & limonium. The hardest part was making sure the strands didn’t get tangled while working or transporting 😅

Just finished hanging flowers for the #WarpedMKE student showcase tonight! I wish photos did it more justice 🥲 Grateful for another opportunity to combine my love for flowers and aerial ☺️ Shoutout to our studio’s assistant director who took care of the fabric for this installation collab.
