This local Wolfdog joined an Olympic ski event and triggered the finish-line camera. This is Nazgul. He snuck into a cross-country skiing sprint this morning and raced the homestretch with some competitors before being escorted home. 14/10 someone get him a medal

The thing no one tells you about pursuing art professionally is that no matter how good you get, you will look at other artists and go "wow, I wish I was good like they are..." every day of your whole life😹

Something I would love to illustrate is a book focusing on historical figures in the arts! Which is why I am sharing my new portfolio pieces on the amazing Jane Austen.

YES! I literally illustrated a book like this! 6 humans and one big dog :) It was a challenge 😅

It’s a tough page to work on! But also so pretty, full of movement and interaction 😍

Honestly, I love bsky precisely because it IS so slow. I'm not here to perform. I'm here to dwell on the little wierd micro thoughts of people in my industry that tend to get buried under the more popular art and video posts elsewhere, stuff people post not for ❤️s or follows, but just because.

Finished up revised sketches for Many Little Squiggles this week! Now I can finally reward myself by prepping my book journal for the next year! 📚 #illustratorlife
