What actually fixes the problem is universal basic income. It's UBI that supports both paid and unpaid child care. It also supports paid and unpaid elder care and disability care. It grants everyone the freedom to choose what's best for them and their loved ones, and it actually values unpaid work.

This morning, ICE rolled into a Home Depot parking lot using a moving truck loaded w/agents, like a Trojan horse, to snatch up Latino workers. Whoever they could find. No idea if they were undocumented or not.
