Just in: German Ambassador Peter Fischer was summoned to Georgia’s MFA, first time in Georgia’s history a German envoy has been called in.

He called the move “a diplomatic sanction,” vowed to reject “baseless, provocative accusations,” and condemned GD’s course against EU membership.
