I haven't really spent much time in 14 since I quit my raid group, so it's nice to come back and see the new stuff every so often.

Suffered massive burn-out around the 1st DT tier, and ended up disconnecting from raid friends & FC friends, and it's been... tough to try and reconnect, feel isolated.

Finally done with the story stuff & the 2nd alliance raid.

The story was good, I enjoyed about as much as the rest of Dawntrail... which is slightly above okay.

I loved the alliance raid, as someone who has sunk a bunch of time into 11, it's been nice seeing and hearing the sights in a newer game.

Tough question honestly, I feel Roxy wouldn't consider any of the dangerous encounters in her line of work to be "her greatest challenge", so it would be something linked more to her as a person, rather than her work as an adventurer, the loss of someone very close to her.

Outside of those two games I haven't been up to much else honestly, just playing assorted games when the mood takes me, and attending the usual tabletop groups I'm a part of for D&D

I played the new FFXIV patch recently, it was fun! Enjoyed the story and the raids actually felt challenging despite being a normal! A shame though that I've retired from raiding, I imagine the savage will be very fun.

I miss seeing my actual character though, vanilla on patch day is always weird!

Thought I'd give a lil update!

Granblue has stolen most of my time recently with the anniversary buffs, dailies are the bane of my existence ~.~

The roulette wheel of pulls has not been kind to me, and summer units continue to evade my broke butt, pray I get summer Galleon soon T-T

MHWild's stole a lot of my time over the past few days, although I think I need a break from it, fun game, but just not enough monsters yet imo.

...So I've been very busy and completely forgot about this place ~.~

Just been appreciating my new pc when I've had the free time, it's great to be able to enjoy my primary hobby without worrying about the hardware holding me back ^^

Also been helping friends with FFXIV raids so that's fun!

Some say she had to start politely declining requests for swordsmanship tutoring, since she was getting complaints due to her rather... 'tough love' style of teaching.

Learning how to swing a sword like that from the fighters of the Ul'dahn bloodsands will do that to you. 🤭

Roxy doesn't take to the frontlines often, but she's always been a fan of simple but effective weapons. Never heard any complaints with her results either. Who'd have thought a polite woman could be such a fiend on the battlefield with a big sword? 😅

Thank god Unite and Fight is over, I can get back to playing other games ~3~

On the brightside I got a bunch of eternals weapons, hoping to unlock a bunch. (I'll probably just gold brick them for the unlock, then see if I feel like doing the million other boxes or just bricking again for 5*)

Aww, you'd have her face burning bright red with all those compliments ~3~ she just does her best to support her family.

It's also very likely the patience and skills from her tutoring side job is why the Adventurers guild keeps assigning her sprouts to look after 😅

She was born to an Ishgardian noblewoman & an Ul'dahn trader, she takes more after her father in build, but got her mothers stunning looks & pointy ears.

Fun fact: She also moonlights as a personal tutor when not adventuring with her party ^^

If anyone is curious about her, feel free to ask whatever you'd like ^^ I've spent a long time roleplaying as her in game and back on a certain other social platform, as I love to immerse myself in storytelling and such, makes sense considering my love for tabletop RPGs.

Finally got my FFXIV working ^^ this is my fave gal Roxy, I've been playing this game for around 7 years, starting on PS4 before moving to PC a few years back. She's gone through plenty of changes over the years but has remained Highlander for pretty much all of that time <3

Might drop some FFXIV stuff like I've done for granblue & limbus... just as soon as I can get it to install on my new PC and not spit errors at me ;-;

Took a break from trying to farm unite & fight, tuned into a friends stream to watch them attempt chaotic alliance raids in FFXIV, the first thing I see when I open the stream?

...yeah I feel called out lol.

Glad to be here lmao, don't know much about him bc I haven't done whatever story he shows up in, but he looks cool and his fate episode has my favourite character Siegfried, so I like him already 🥰

I've been awake for thirty minutes but I really don't wanna get out of bed 😭

After analysing my current Wind units and grid pieces I've come to the conclusion that I CANNOT farm Siegfried for improvements on my Earth Grid 😭

Man I really want those weapons but I really don't wanna just leech and be deadweight in those raids, I can't even hit the 4mil honors to get b.chest :(

I really wanted to try and get more stuff done on Granblue after maintenance, but I'm already falling asleep at my desk ><

I suppose trying to figure out how I'm gonna get blue chests on Siegfried with my nonexistent wind units will have to wait till tomorrow 😖
