Captivating Chameleon ~ 8x10in Acrylic on Canvas Board.
This piece took me about 8 hours over 2 days to complete, and it’s by far my favourite piece I have painted to date. I adore this little guy!
Overall I am incredibly proud of how this portrait has come out.

Nobody hears it as often as you think bc everyone thinks everyone hears it all the time.

I’m about 5 hours into this piece and it’s a challenge for sure.
Not only is this my first time painting a background to my traditional art, but it’s also my first time drawing a chameleon, or any other animal like it.

When people ask for custom work that I know won’t be difficult for me to do, I need to stop saying “just pay me what you can” and actually start valuing my work.
I feel guilty charging for something I can create easily, but forget how long it took me to get to that level in the first place…
