Finally found some time to work on Lunatic Pit for the first time in a while & got a lot done today. Along w/ some bugfixes, polishing, and new debug features, I created a new library that overrides the game's hardcoded music limit!

A custom mural for the Pit of 100 Trials in Super Paper Mario, depicting the wedding vows of Count Bleck and Tippi. Above the altar is the Chaos Heart being surrounded by the Pure Hearts, and inside the Chaos Heart is a silhouette of Blumiere and Timpani being united. The surroundings of the altar include pillars, flowers, and ribbons from the wedding hall, and bells are featured at the top based on the wedding bells heard once the Chaos Heart is banished.
The vertical part of the custom wedding mural, depicting the wedding vows of Count Bleck and Tippi. Above the altar is the Chaos Heart being surrounded by the Pure Hearts, and inside the Chaos Heart is a silhouette of Blumiere and Timpani being united. There are holes in the image to reveal an underlying circuit board when seen in game.
Coverart for a Pit of 100 Trials remix, with an abstract teal background and a Game & Watch system featured in the middle. The Game & Watch is decorated with elements of the Pit, including Shadoo and Wracktail prints on the sides, while the screen features the custom wedding mural in the background. Silhouetted dark enemies such as Choppas, Clubbas, Magiblots, and Skelobits are seen roaming the dungeon, to add to the Game & Watch aesthetic.

Been working on this level for a while now, think I'm about done with it. I rewrote just about all hammer block and switch-related code to make puzzles like this work, it was very well worth the effort and it will absolutely continue to pay off :3c

Thanks to @seekyct.bsky.social and @l5050.bsky.social I was able to get dynamic map texture replacement working today :) It was way way way more complex than I expected it to be, but that is OK - it's functional!!!
You can do a lot more than basic recolors with this... but I'm lazy~ ;p
too lazy to finish this, maybe i will some other time
