100 Women of Oxford Medical Sciences 100 years since women were admitted as full members of the University of Oxford, women now hold vital posts at all levels of this institution. Medical Sciences Division asked 100 of these women to take part in a project to showcase diversity of roles they now hold. Launching on Thursday 11 February, each day they will be bringing you a new group of incredible women working across the Medical Sciences Division, each reflecting on their journeys, their place in Medical Sciences and their vision for the next 100 years.

5 years ago #OxfMedSci celebrated a centenary of women as full members of @ox.ac.uk with achievements of 100 Women of Medical Sciences. Some have moved on to new challenges, or are now in different positions, but they remain inspirational. This #IWD take moment to meet them.

Mina and @melissalittle.bsky.social presented findings from the @oxwell.bsky.social study on social media, eating disorders, and self-harm, and Amalie shared her work on sibling involvement in eating disorder care, done in collaboration with the Oxford CAMHS Eating Disorder team.

It was inspiring to hear from clinicians and researchers sharing insights from their important work, as well as from parents and young people who courageously shared their experiences of receiving support when struggling with an eating disorder.
