Your reminder that next year will be Year 7 for Z, he has never played in the postseason, averages 36 games a season and really hasn't accomplished anything in his career. The Pels waiting for that mythical leap is why they have gone nowhere. He isn't that guy.

The optimal strategy for the Pels is to hope Zion keeps balling out for the last 20 games and then NO needs to unload him this summer.
You can't be blinded by what you see now. The reality is the Pels have 17 wins and Z has played just 24 games. Same ol' story.
