In this case it was the character first, but it can go either way. Most of the time when I draw ttrpg characters, it's after I've gotten excited to play a character I've just generated lol

I'm still in the red from my first book, but it's the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I wouldn't trade that feeling for anything. I wish I could do this for a living, but it's just not feasible.
