My mom ran a used books shop when she was young. Here is a picture from right after the war. The letters on the wall says "Oslo Antikvariat, buying and selling of used books". How cool is that? This area no longer exists. It was torn down to make Oslo Main Station.

Just watched the Japanese psychological horror movie Exit 8, which is based on the game of the same name. An instant classic and surely the best video game adaptation ever. As a movie it is natural to interpret it as an abstract reflection on death and penance.

It seems that I was prejudiced. It was a great party and it was fun to be on a boat. Never underestimate the capacity for Berlin to have fun. The crowd was like IT-people, teachers and master students (or so I imagine). The Spree came into view with the dawn with full row of windows behind the DJ.
