I saw this meme and had fun thinking about how the boys drawing styles would be different! I did my best to replicate the calligraphy style with thick black lines that MK uses in his sketches.. meanwhile Red Son’s only drawings are blueprints for his tech soooo :P

When I saw the template for this comic, I absolutely had to do a version of these two dum dums 🌶️🍜

Baby Mei stands next to Red Boy in the distance, she is grinning up at him with a wink while Red Boy glares angrily with fire literally in his eyes at Baby Nezha and Baby MK who are standing in the foreground. Baby Nezha is flexing while Baby MK looks up at him with wide excited eyes, poking his fingers together. Baby Mei: Oh man, Red Boy… looks like you’re not the leader anymore! Baby Nezha: So then I ripped out his tendons and made a belt out of ‘em! Ha ha! Baby MK: Woooow, you’re so cool, Nezha~

I love the idea of baby Nezha joining the kid gang in the Battle Nexus, especially this idea of him usurping Red Boy as their de facto leader! Red could probably get past that, but the fact that baby MK is paying more attention to Nezha than him is definitely gonna fuel this rivalry!

I was asked to draw Nezha as an infant, but as the story goes, Nezha was never an infant. His mother gave birth to a ball of flesh that burst open and Nezha popped out already a boy able to talk and walk.. soooo if Nezha were to get any younger he’d just be… 👀 #LegoMonkieKid

Baby Nezha has a person pinned, grabbing the front of his shirt and pulling his first back to strike. He shouts, “What’d you say about my monkey?!” Behind him MK who has his hair down and is wearing a skirt and knee high socks is running forward looking distressed. He shouts, “Nezha, stop!”

When someone bullies MK for his new outfit, Baby Nezha does not stand for it 💪

Baby Nezha is being held up by Li Jing who has grabbed his Red Armillary Sash, it is reminiscent of holding a cat by the scruff of their neck. Nezha is flailing around and screaming trying to get at Li Jing. He looks unimpressed and says “Come now, Nezha… this again?”

When Nezha gets turned into a kid again, Li Jing is not bothered. He’s been through this all before 😂
