X has almost become a campaigning website for the populist right. They reinforce themselves with likes and reposts and seem to think they speak for Britain. They don’t.

It’s completely extraordinary that after the riots of last year, the populist right are trying to whip up hatred of asylum seekers again. Utterly shameful.

The overwhelming majority of Brits don’t want a Reform government.

Disgraceful comment from Nigel Farage in his speech that while Lucy Connelly should not have said what she said, “there were millions of mothers at that moment in time feeling exactly the same”. Millions of mothers indifferent as to whether hotels with human beings in them burned down? Shameful.

Yesterday was an embarassing day for right wing media in Britain. A very embarrassing day.

Starmer’s deal with the EU is designed to make our lives better. The EU obviously wanted something in return for a deal. Anything they wanted was always going to annoy someone in the UK. The alternative is to make no deals with foreign countries and watch the UK decline further.

0.7% growth. Stronger than expected. Must be very, very painful for all those unpatriotic commentators hoping for Starmer and Labour to fail.
