But, from what I can see from far away and from the propaganda, the U.S. always valued authoritarian figures l, that they called strong leaders.

And they have 2 parties that are mostly well aligned.

But, the extreme nationalism, the glorification of militarism and violence, the belief in a national hierarchy, the subordination of individual rights to the state's interests (that is only actioned when is convenient) were always there.

Is the U.S. turning into a Fascist nation or is it just getting more active in its own values?
I mean, most of the reason the U.S. is not seeing as it is, is pure propaganda that dilutes all its misdeeds.
