Milan go top of Serie A — just ahead of Napoli on goal difference — with a 3-2 win at Torino, which saw the Rossoneri come from 2-0 down. Christian Pulisic, who started on the bench due to a fever, came on to net the second and third goals after Adrien Rabiot’s 30-yard screamer in the first half.

Milan have Torino on the ropes. Adam Masina has to provide a goal-saving block to prevent Christopher Nkunku from making it 4-2.

Pulisic does it again! Milan now lead 3-2 at Torino, completing their comeback from 2-0 down. Captain America has stepped up in the Rossoneri's time of need. That's his ninth goal involvement in Serie A this season, second behind Como's Nico Paz, who has 10.

Milan let off the hook as Che Adams scores for Torino, but it doesn't count as Marcus Pedersen was deemed to have pushed Saelemaekers to the ground just before. The right call, in my view, but Milan very lucky nonetheless.

One minute after coming on as a substitute, Christian Pulisic fires Milan level. Three Torino players went for Saelemaekers's cross, all three of them missed, and Pulisic was there to control the ball and fire past Franco Israel. 2-2.

Alexis Saelemaekers looked like a fish out of water with the way he was rolling around there, although there's no denying that challenge from Tino Anjorin must have hurt. Just a minute or so before, Franco Israel kept Torino's lead intact with a quick double save. Still 2-1 to the Granata after 58'.

Rabiot almost with his second golazo of the game. Milan have done really well since going 2-0 down, with the score 2-1 at half time. Loftus-Cheek has taken up Leao’s place alongside Nkunku up top, but the Rossoneri — not for the first time this season — are missing a focal point in attack.

Rafa Leao heads straight to the bench with what looks like a groin injury. Clear frustration on the Milan forward’s face.

And seeing as Napoli don’t have a home game until 7 January 2026, they have gone unbeaten at the Stadio Maradona in the entirety of 2025. Yes, in all competitions. Chapeau to Antonio Conte and his players.

For those interested, Napoli’s last defeat at the Stadio Maradona was on 8 December 2024 — a year ago tomorrow.

Napoli jump back into first after beating Juventus 2-1. Two goals by Hojlund were enough for the Partenopei. Neres, especially in the first half, was fantastic. With this win, it means Napoli will have gone a whole year since losing at the Stadio Maradona. An unhappy return to Naples for Spalletti.

There’s still time for Juve to rescue a point, but Spalletti will surely be ruing his decision to take off Yildiz and Conceicao and switch back to a 3-5-2 just before Napoli’s second. With Zhegrova now on the pitch, Juventus have reverted to a 3-4-3 system. Remember, Napoli go top with a win.

Hojlund again! Napoli had lost their rhythm after Juve’s equaliser, but Noa Lang showed excellent determination to head it back across goal for Hojlund to score. 2-1 with 12 minutes to go.

Yildiz draws Juventus level in Naples. Locatelli’s crunching tackle on Hojlund started the move, then some great interplay between four Juve players resulted in McKennie finding Yildiz, whose effort across goal goes in. Juve have been a lot better in this 3-4-3 system.

David on for Cabal, with Cambiaso going to left wing-back and McKennie going to right wing-back. A 3-4-3 now, instead of a 3-5-2.

Napoli will be frustrated that it’s only 1-0 at half time. Hojlund with the sole goal so far, and McTominay came close with two headers. Neres has been unplayable. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Jonathan David or Lois Openda come on for Juventus at the break.

The way Neres just sat down Locatelli with that jink. Oooof.

Napoli have done a great job so far tracking back and with their pressing, but Juventus are starting to find their feet in this game. The Bianconeri look particularly dangerous whenever Kenan Yildiz has the ball.

Neres with another unbelievable cross — this time from the left — that Hojlund can’t quite get to. It’s astonishing that he isn’t in the Brazil squad, with his last appearance for the Selecao coming in 2023.

Crazy to think this is the first time Antonio Conte and Luciano Spalletti are going head to head in an official game. The last two coaches to lead Napoli to the Scudetto, they did face off once before — in a 2017 pre-season friendly between Conte’s Chelsea and Spalletti’s Inter.

David Neres has started this game on fire. It was his ball that Scott McTominay narrowly headed wide, then a minute or so later he got to the byline and cut it back for Rasmus Hojlund to score. Ominous signs for Juan Cabal and Teun Koopmeiners on the left-hand side of Juventus’ defence.

Marc Guehi’s 87th-minute winner sends Crystal Palace up to fourth place in the table. Fulham outplayed the visitors after going behind in the 20th minute, but a strong finish to the game by Palace saw them grab their fourth straight away win in the Premier League. What a job Oliver Glasner is doing.

The goal is disallowed for a narrow offside by Samu Chukwueze. Still, Smith Rowe has been really impressive so far for Fulham.

Emile Smith Rowe deserved that goal. This has been the best I’ve seen him play in some time.

Cagliari get their first Serie A win since 19 September after beating Roma 1-0. Back-to-back losses for the Giallorossi, however — the first time they have dropped points in successive league games this season.

The way Gianluca Gaetano controls the ball with his chest before scoring is unbelievable. Cagliari 1-0 ahead against 10-man Roma with less than seven minutes to go.

Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba’s careers officially come to a close after winning MLS Cup, the first in Inter Miami’s history. The perfect way to end their illustrious careers, as Busi lifts his 37th major honour while Alba wins his 22nd major trophy.

Inter Miami, in their last game at Chase Stadium before moving to the brand-new Miami Freedom Park, beat the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 to secure the 2025 MLS Cup. Vancouver will be left ruing what could have been. Leo Messi secures the 47th major trophy of his career.
