and finally, i'm not sure why, but when i press <tab> in Apple's Terminal, the partial opacity/blur setting i have just unsets, or i guess more precisely it "toggles" between on and off. it's quite annoying.

i was also blown away that i could find no way to 'ungroup' the two related emails i had in the Gmail interface, it always kept them connected, so i couldn't just 'print one' since they overflowed individual sheets of paper in what it would print/export.

i didn't bother looking when i printed an email from Citizen to pdf, nor did i preview it at the library where i actually printed it out. all i ended up with was the header. just spent 30 mins trying to get it out of Apple Mail usefully, no luck. I had to manually munge the html from raw source.

Every agency depicted shows a sharp downward trajectory, with staffing losses ranging from approximately -15% to over -25%. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) shows the most significant decline, dropping to roughly -26%, while the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) shows the least severe but still substantial drop at approximately -15%.

This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

Oli @CARNØN X.com The other night I was driving in pouring rain, fully dark, and the car randomly lost GPS. No location. No navigation. Which also meant no FSD. I tried two software resets while driving just to get GPS back. Nothing worked. So there I was, manually driving in terrible conditions, unsure of positioning, no assistance, no guidance. And it genuinely felt unsafe. For me and for the people in the car. Then it hit me. This feeling - the stress, the uncertainty, the margin for error - this is how most drivers feel every single day. No FSD. No constant awareness. No backup. We've normalised danger so much that we only notice it when the safety net disappears.
