Oh dang, neat trivia: Santa Ragione's is mostly known for video games but their first game was the board game Escape from Aliens in Outer Space.

Ginseng Roots might be my favourite thing I've read this year, such a rich mix of personal biography and cultural history.

That said, Valve is no stranger to having their own games censored, I experienced the Australian L4D2 controversy first-hand. You'd think they'd be a little more sympathetic to censorship with so reason or recourse.

Doing some research into Horses, and clearly it should not have been banned, but this thing looks more like a parody of 'art games' made with Source Film Maker. Are we really going to make this the benchmark for subversive material in games.
