yeah! so i mean i want to rewrite it so it isn’t a bts fic and i can publish it as a real novel! i’m glad you like longer fics because i can’t write short ones very well hahaha

I’m on the last chapter still since ao3 wanted to fight, but this au is phenomenal. Having a character wake up decades into the end of the world is an incredible concept. The sci-fi and horror genre blending is everything and I have been completely sucked in since starting.

I'm All Yours (I've Got No Control) krescentkoo Summary: Life is already hard for notorious gang leader Yoongi. The last thing he needs is the universe forcing him to repeatedly cross paths with a man who shines brighter than the sun. Yoongi's been walking this path for long enough now to know the universe doesn't give him nice things and lets him keep them. And he's not sure how long he can fight a warmth as strong as Hoseok's before he lets it pull him into his orbit.

"Now what is an A-class citizen like nurse Jung Hoseok doing spending time with notorious crime lord Min Yoongi?" The smile Yoongi wore as he spoke was dripping in an irony so thick he's surprised his words didn't trip over it on the way out. "You looked lonely." It stopped Yoongi in his tracks, his drink lifted mid-way between the table and his mouth. When he turned to look at Hoseok, it was with furrowed brows and a sharp tongue. But the words vanished, and his face relaxed when he was greeted by a genuine softness that made Yoongi uncon fortable to be the recipient of.

Life is dull. That is Yoongi's biggest take away from his first thirty-years on Earth. Everyday he wakes up in his stuffy, too small apartment, squeezes himself into a stuffy, too small train and clocks into a job he doesn't like but can't leave. Every night he trapses home, exhausted and bored, and too tired to even dream up a life better than this one. He thinks they existed once, when the Earth wasn't crammed full of too many people, when there was space to breathe and time to live. When people had money to spend on menial things like hobbies and vacations. Now, the only thing Yoongi has in his favour is his health, and that's teetering on a fine line, with every breath he sucks in, filling his lungs with the smog that clings to the Busan air. So, life is dull. And then the world ends. And that's dull, too.

i am very aware that i’m an overwriter lmao, but there’s no way i can cut out 80k of words without the story completely falling apart… sigh. i’m just feeling super defeated and sad now

like, i knew it was a mammoth story and way above the normal horror wc, but i don’t realise no one would even consider publishing it simply because of that ☹️☹️ i’d always been taught that a story is as long as it needs to be, so i hadn’t thought it was that big of a deal ☹️☹️
