Its kinda a matter of who you follow, theres quite a few artists who actively encourage you including their ocs. they're either really thankful for it, or even offer a discount.

So I guess if you mostly follow a bunch of artists who like it, it'd be easy to think others do too.

I've been thinking for a while that people care more about hating pedophiles than they actually do about protecting children. Becuase the common stance seems to be that any sort of outlet should be banned, but if the all outlets are banned, the only outlet left is actual children, which is BAD.

INSTEAD of being pushed out of community & into increasingly harmful spaces that DO encourage acting on those attractions in harmful ways (because unfortunately those're the only places left that don't tell them to kys)

we should be focusing on harm REDUCTION
not causing more harm by ostraciszing

also hot-take (tho i've been saying it for years now) but even if someone DOES have a potentially harmful paraphilia, it makes 100x more sense to have open no-shame discussions about it SO that person can learn to cope with it in healthy ways *cough cough via fantasy* (cont..)

but the world doesn't want to give them education because
of the idea that anyone to even a second below 18 can't handle it. That it'd would be impure, that their innocence would be tainted. Ideas that make no sense.

It doesn't make sense to protect people with formed libido's from sex. They don't need protection from sexualtiy and exploring themselves. They need protection from std's, pregnancy, unrealistic expect and PREDATORS.
The solution to all of these is EDUCATION.

Everyman above 45 has some story about how his friends had porn stashed in a stump or something when they were 15, but still grow up into thinking teenagers must be completely protected from seeing a titty! When I was a teengaer we had a teen pregnancy crisis because teens were literally HAVING SEX

But aside from that. Sexuality develops so early. I've had fetishes since before my age had 2 digits in it. Families have to try to shame young boys into not playing with their private parts. I started finding other people hot at like 9 or 10. and we all know how much more intense it gets at like 13

Children given early sexual education are given the tools to not just understand their body, but the knowledge to know when an adult is manipulating for their body. The ability to identify sexual predators, when they're being tricked, or when they have been molested. It PREVENTS harm.

First of all. BASIC SEXUAL EDUTION ABOUT THE BODY. Kids should get taught about their bodies. I remember when I was a kid and the only thing I was ever taught by my family was that I shouldn't touch myself.
This education literally saves lives.

At the risk of saying an opinion that could get me crucified. In order to fight against the constant idea we need more surveillance for the sake of"the children". We need to fight against the idea that minors absolutely must be protected from anything sex.
