You’re supposed to then imagine a wheelchair user as the displaced, disadvantaged person in order to get that point, but there isn’t time for the emotional arc, and the major impression I’m left with is that this wheelchair user is a douche. The message is there, it’s just less effective.

The entire premise is the wheelchair user is the bad guy, then at the last minute they try to flip it by pointing out what it means to take a handicapped person’s parking spot, but the emotional punch of the infidelity doesn’t let the first impression be softened effectively.

Wow. Thought it was an anti DEI ad and I think in some circles it would still hit that way. Funny, but poorly conceived
