Much-needed #Crew96 win, but this night was special for the performance of 19-year-old Taha Habroune from Columbus. Two assists and some electric touches. Vision on second assist was exquisite.

Maybe this performance gets Daniel Gazdag going for #Crew96. It was more than just the spot kick, which he drew. He was more involved, more noticeable. Yeah, it was only DC United, but perhaps it gives him an injection of confidence.

I cannot recall a reigning Premier League champion making so many offseason moves as #LFC. With more to come. I get it, but Liverpool may start their title defense with five or six new starters.

As an #LFC fan, I hated the sight of Kevin DeBruyne. No opponent scared me more because of his playmaking. I have such admiration for his game. He and Salah have been the two best players in the Premier League over the last decade.

Gakpo also played really well before being subbed off. It’s a four-game exhibition for #LFC.

I’ll say it again, this championship-winning season can’t end soon enough for #LFC. Between the disjointed lineups & 3/4 efforts, Liverpool don’t seem troubled by it all. At least Bradley looked bright.

My biggest fear with these #Cavs is they are morphing into Daugherty-Price-Nance #Cavs of late 80s, early 90s. Nice guys who win lots of regular-season games, but don’t have what it takes to go deep in playoffs. Too easy to play against. Yes, injuries were a factor, but Pacers were the better team

It’s a different game for sure. Same opponent best four out of seven. Cavs will need a big response Tuesday.

Cavs have more individual talent, but Indiana plays with pace, defensive intensity and a real edge about its game. Bears repeating they were the team that reached the conference final last year.

Mathurin may have been ejected, but Hunter is nowhere to be found since their skirmish. He’s clearly rattled — and he’s not the only one in wine and gold.

People can boo all they want, it’s their right. And I can find their reaction to a homegrown player who’s been instrumental in Liverpool’s best years since the 1980s, classless.
