I suspect the government shutdown ends soon now that it's impacting business travel. It's very disheartening that feeding kids and supporting our troops hasn't been enough motivation for Congress to work together. 😔

That’s man twisting God’s words for their own ends.
Jesus, in the Sermon on the Mount: Blessed are the poor. Love your enemies. Welcome the stranger. That’s following Jesus.

A LLM won’t lead you.
It’ll follow you perfectly.

If you bring insecurity, it’ll dress it up in clean language.
If you bring wisdom, it’ll meet you there.

They’re not guides.
They’re reflections.

And how you use them says more about you than anything they generate.

Goals don’t have to be about outcomes. They can be about orientation. A surrendered life to Christ isn’t passive—it’s deeply intentional. You still aim your life toward something, but the aim is shaped by discernment, not ego. The path is walked with God, not ahead of Him.

As I explore contemplation and mysticisim, I'm amazed at how much I don't know about the early church. It's too bad that more time isn't spent in Protestant churches to inform and discuss the early development of the Church. Perhaps this is more common in the Catholic and Orthodox tradition. #faith
