We are taught that many destructions of Jewish life throughout history all fell on the same day on the calendar. How can a human heart contain all this suffering? Tisha b'Av teaches us a spirituality of solidarity--one person's suffering is connected to our own.

Our neighbors are being kidnapped in broad daylight.

Join Jewish communities across the greater Baltimore area to join our voices in lament on Tisha b'Av, the Jewish day of mourning on August 3 at 2pm. Jewish community and our extended communities of faith and action are warmly welcome.

All we need is editors who want to work on such things. So--tag your people who have this skill. I would want to compensate for this work (no funding streams yet but this labor is VALUABLE!) And, if someone also wants to offer their serious skill up for free to the movement, it is so welcome.

The Guardian is reporting that Trump is openly violating a court order, and has transferred multiple transgender women to men's facilities.

We know in Florida, transgender women are having their hair shorn, feminine items confiscated, and pulled off medication.

This is inhumane and illegal.
