05.12.2024 01:43 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think you all misunderstand the "kids movie" genre. There are several different ages of kids. Star wars isn't a "G" rated movie, it's more of a PG or pg13 movie. Young adults. Not super complicated, mild violence with some romantic aspects. Etc.
04.12.2024 05:54 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0i'm not sure but I don't think fractions are related to common core.
My kids are learning fractions? cutting up paper into segments of equal size, etc.
There's that whole meme about A&W selling a 3rd pounder but americans didn't buy it because they thought a quarter pounder was bigger..soo
seriously training wheels are the absolute worst. people are blown away and don't believe me when I tell them all my kids were riding pedal bikes at 3 years old. Thanks 'stupid bike with no pedals' for training my kids what balance is, aka the hardest part of learning to ride.

People are just too defensive to how they did/learned things. You see it everywhere. "Throw the kid in the pool" "training wheels are the best" etc.
common core match actually teaches them to do math in their heads, logically.
my wife has been homeschooling the kids and ended up 'learning' common core. She says that it's actually how she ended up learning and doing math as an adult as an accountant after finishing school
12 inch? that's a unit. lets see some pictures of it too
