Xal would mock us (as villains do 👍) as she corrupts the two brothers-- one already void-corrupted as we'd approach & egging on the process.

Xal: "Why twist only *one* of the Titan's pets when I could twist *two*?"

No fight after. Just a solid ending of, 'You won, but you also lost. Hard.'

But, all the drakes and drakonid and dragonspawn are dead/injured/missing. A large vortex of void energy is focusing on something. Where'd this void dragon come from? Who's that elf lady floating in the air?

We'd eventually find the eggs, fight the cult leader, maybe help an enslaved Twilight break free from the leader's influence, hurray! But as we'd go to leave, the sky would get dark. There's a bunch of fighting as the pre-patch ritual stuff is going on. We rush back to the Redoubt with the eggs...

They send our characters out, after we return one of the eggs, to go find the rest and to deal with any cultists we find. There's a time limit here as well, cause the longer our characters took for all this, the more eggs would be void infused.

They'd found that eggs resulted in dragons that were easier to control later, so, they focused on those for infusing with void. There were also two brothers, guarding the Vermillion Redoubt in the Highlands and had noticed some eggs missing, but also couldn't leave the remaining ones unprotected.

As part of this RP, I wrote that the Twilight's Blade, during the pre-patch, was likely also nabbing up any twilight dragons, drakes and eggs they could find that still live in the Highlands. They'd also managed to nab a few eggs from dragons who didn't want their kids born in the Dragon Isles.

I'd heard that the these two dragons, the focus of an upcoming "twins-style" raid boss fight, are actually corrupted red dragons. No one I'd spoken to had heard any lore as to why they're void-corrupted, so I decided to write my own story for em!

Man, I thought I was okay with my campaign not getting completed, but nope-- now that I got through the opening part of the new expac, I'm actually really depressed no one got to see even the little bit I cooked up that I was proud of. Guess I'll just write about it here. Slight Midnight spoilers.

There are various items that reference tobacco via pipes or cigar mentions, but the only nicotine-related items you can "use" as a player are the shisha/hookah decor they added with housing (since those have been a part of WC since WC2). No toys for pipes or cigs or anything. They'd exist though!
