Very thankful I haven't had that experience tbh. I actually get the complete opposite-- even characters I want people to flirt with (but no ERP) barely get the time of day. I'm fairly content with the small group I've RP'd with for years though. You should give it a shot; maybe you'll get lucky!

Xal would mock us (as villains do 👍) as she corrupts the two brothers-- one already void-corrupted as we'd approach & egging on the process.

Xal: "Why twist only *one* of the Titan's pets when I could twist *two*?"

No fight after. Just a solid ending of, 'You won, but you also lost. Hard.'

But, all the drakes and drakonid and dragonspawn are dead/injured/missing. A large vortex of void energy is focusing on something. Where'd this void dragon come from? Who's that elf lady floating in the air?

We'd eventually find the eggs, fight the cult leader, maybe help an enslaved Twilight break free from the leader's influence, hurray! But as we'd go to leave, the sky would get dark. There's a bunch of fighting as the pre-patch ritual stuff is going on. We rush back to the Redoubt with the eggs...

They send our characters out, after we return one of the eggs, to go find the rest and to deal with any cultists we find. There's a time limit here as well, cause the longer our characters took for all this, the more eggs would be void infused.
