Threatening to annex Canada might make us kinda mad. Not sure why this is so hard to understand.

It is PC lite. Just like a diet soft drink, you can enjoy it without feeling the same guilt as supporting the other brand. But it’s basically the same thing.

His views are shaped by popular public opinion and polling more than any consistent set of principles. If he did have those, he would be anti-pipeline based on his previous Indigenous activism, for example.

Some beautiful writing here about loss and living through modern times.
Have a read.
If socialism was good enough for Harry Truman, surely it is good enough for House Democrats and at least some of the GOP?
I mean, I’m not really surprised by this vote to condemn “socialism” but it is still upsetting. Sadly, it is the American people that will learn about what it means to do this.
This.
It will be a long time before it is up and running. In the meantime, there will be some jobs, money will be transferred to certain people, and the MB NDP will have an election platform item for the next election. And it will show that we are open for business for AI. Ugh.

Awhile ago, my colleague Alannah Hallas came knocking on my door about a new material, PtSn4, her student Samikshya Sahu had grown that had a HUGE RRR. The question: was something preventing defects from scattering electrons? Or were there just that few defects?
